FAQ

FAQ

  • What do I wear?

    Pls wear clothing that easy to roll up to knee and elbow.
  • Can I address more than one health issue at a time with acupuncture?

    Yes! Acupuncture often acts like a reset button for the entire body. Often, people come in for one issue, like back pain, and then notice an improvement in something apparently unrelated, such as a chronic allergy.  This can happen even when the patient doesn’t tell me about the apparently unrelated problem. Acupuncture also seems to have the positive “side effect” of reducing stress and promoting better sleep and increasing your energy levels.
    At the same time if you have more than four (4) health complains please try your best to let us know which one is bothering you the most.
  • What can I expect during treatment?

    The treatment works best when you are relaxed, being relaxed, taking a nap during the session is best.
    Occasionally some people may feel dizzy, start sweating, or even have slight nausea, this after needles in. Don’t worry, this is normal and the acupuncturist is there help you. Just let her know how you feel.
  • What can I expect after the first treatment?

    There can be different reactions to your first treatment as each persons body reacts slightly differently to treatment. While the majority people feel good after the initial treatment; you may experience slightly different results; such as:
    · Some people won’t feel much change after the treatment, but notice improvement in the following days.
    · Slight fatigue. Take it easy. Rest more at home.
    · Around 3-5% people may feel worse initially but feel better after 2-3days.
    · Some people won’t feel any result until 2-3 treatments.
  • What should I do after treatment

    After-acupuncture care helps your body and mind connect and communicate more effectively and guarantees you get the most out of your treatment.
    When it comes to taking care of your body and mind, various options are available, and their significance shouldn’t be understated. The following are some steps you should consider:

    · Get enough rest;
    · Allow yourself to feel emotions;
    · Eat healthy;
    · Drink plenty;
    · Take note of unusual feelings and report back during the next session;
    · Stay warm.
  • Does acupuncture hurt?

    Acupuncture doesn't hurt much at all! That being said, getting an acupuncture treatment isn’t always sensation-free. The needles are extremely small and while you may feel a quick pinch when the needle is tapped in, any sensation should ease almost immediately. More than anything a treatment should be a deeply relaxing and sleepy slice of time for you. If you feel a prolonged sharp stinging sensation at a needle site, let me know and I'll reposition it. If you feel a heavy sensation or slight ache around the needle site, that is a good sign - your body is reacting in a productive way to help you feel better and heal.
    The bottom line is that as long as the feelings around the needles don’t keep you from closing your eyes and napping for a little while, I say let them be.
  • Do you treat kid?
